Hi IxDA member,
This is Gilles from the Interaction14 Program committee,

I want to give you an update on the Program Front and suggest ways for you to participate in the preparation of our – the IxDA community – event.

The pace of submissions is really intense so far, with very diverse topics. and we expect a lot more submissions in the following 2 (two!) days. We are very very excited to create the best Interaction conference from your submissions.

The clock is ticking and there are really only 2 days left for you you to be able to participate. Here a few ways on how to do so.

If you did not submit yet, but are planning to

Well, the deadline is easy to remember. Look at your clock : It is on September 1, at 23:59 (PST). So if you see 2nd of September on your computer, it is too late!

“Languages of Interaction Design” is the theme of Interaction14. We are looking for people from diverse expertise, experience and backgrounds to be speakers and lead workshops.  We invite you to share your expertise.

If you have already submitted

Great news, and thank you so much! Go grab a glass of milk and a cookie.

And while you're at it – reflecting on this half-empty half-full glass of milk – maybe you have another great idea you want to talk about. You're welcome to submit another (short) talk.

In any case, you'll hear back from us on October 15.

If you want to participate but don't want to talk

We opened the review process to the community. From September 2 – 15, we need assistance evaluating the proposals. We invite everyone to review the content of the proposals. For us, it is helpful to know if a specific topic is interesting and if it is a good fit for Interaction14. For you, it is an opportunity to preview the latest trends and have your voice heard.

From the Interaction14 Committee, thank you.
