The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and the Savannah College of
Art and Design (SCAD) are proud to announce Interaction 10 in
Savannah, GA, February 4-7, 2010. Mark your calendar so you don't
miss this incredible opportunity to gather with several hundred other
design professionals from around the world.
The conference aims to strengthen international academic exchange on
interaction design, and to explore on an interactive platform between
design educators and creative industries under a global vision.
Stumbled across this great article talks about new approaches to UX

behaviour and make products that comply with them but also to change
these behaviours. Three practices described — Persuasion Design,

We’ve been working with Adobe, AIGA/NY & the Freelancers Union to put together a “pop-up” event of sorts. Basically it will be a 2-day series of workshops and masterclasses all focused on web interface design---called DELVE:UI (http://www.delvenyc.com).
We are sad to announce that there will be no UX Challenge at Svalbard
in October 2009.
It seems like the financial crisis has hit our target group harder
than we hoped for. Indeed we have received a lot of feedback on the
project, where people tell us that they love the idea, but they have
a hard time finding the necessary resources to attend.
At Svalbard we need 200 participants in order to break even, and we
don't seem to be able to recruit that many this year.
On May 30th, the Dallas chapters of IxDA, UPA, and Refresh are hosting
a one-day conference that brings in experts from social media, UX
design, development, and strategy. The conference is at the Art
Institute of Dallas. They have a great set of speakers already lined
up and it is only $50.
