The IxDA Oresund local group is still in its infancy. I have some ideas and notes from the latest Interaction conference, on possible formats for the group. I would like to hear what you would prefer or desire for the group.
How often to have a meetup?
What kinds of meetups? Social meetups, presentations, demonstrations?
Share meetups between Copenhagen and Malmö?
If you are in Copenhagen, are you willing to travel to Malmö?

Local groups are great. There are a lot of people who are working hard
to bring interaction designers and other interested folks together
locally on a regular basis.
Wouldn't it be great if local groups had a dedicated space that
brought events, discussions, and jobs into a local-centric space?
Wouldn't it be great if ixda.org could expand the ability of local
groups to communicate & collaborate?
IxDA Atlanta is hosting a design slam event the evening of September
9th, at Macquarium in Buckhead.
What's a design slam? Basically, it's a fun and collaborative event
around an interesting design problem posed by a client. Slam
participants group into teams who then devise and document design
solutions using simple tools like markers, paper, pencils, and
we are going to start organizing a local group at Moscow, Russia and
I want to find an IxDA members there who are interested in this
group. We are planning to find some interesting things and share them
on a on- (or off-) line meetings.

Our last two F2F meetings have been focused on Case Study Workshop
discussions. But let's take a break from the program and meet some no-doubt
interesting colleagues in our sister discipline of Industrial Design! And as
always, please feel free to spread the word about this event to those who
care about IxD & ID!
