Wanted: Great examples of Animated mobile UI

Which are the great examples of Animated Graphical User Interface (transitions, animations etc.) on mobile? Or do you know mobile apps with innovative/interesting interaction? Do you know great, interesting, new, beautiful, user-centered, fun, or innovative animations wich can be used in mobile-GUI?

Examples of great multi-device applications / service?

I want to put together a set of examples of software and services that are great, interesting (or even plain bad) examples of how to offer a product or service that spans multiple devices / form factors.

Some of the things I've thought of so far include:

  • Evernote
  • Dropbox
  • iTunes

Got any examples that come to mind of great (and awful) multi-platform experiences?

[Event] MEX: 6 pathways to the mobile UX horizon

The next MEX is in London on 30 Nov - 01 Dec.

I'd love to hear your feedback on the 6 Pathways, or from those who want to get involved as speakers, participants or sponsors. We also have some scholarship places available for students & start-ups.

The new MEX is based around 6 Pathways. These are ongoing initiatives designed to create fresh knowledge for the community, spanning pre-event blog posts, our Twitter feed, the 2 day event itself and a post-event report.

Smartphones are computers?

Hi list!

We tend to believe that people has some sort of mental "scale" from
phones to computers. Something like this:

Basic phone > Feature phone > Smartphone > PDA/UMPC> Laptop PC > Desktop
PC

It seems logical to put all the "phones" in one category and the "computers"
in one category. However my working theory is that "normal people" actually
consider smartphones to be computers. This has some serious design
implications.
