Mobile App Accessibility Resources

I am delivering a lecture on Web Accessibility. Does anyone have any good slide or resources that I can use related to Mobile App Accessibility, and not only Mobile Web Accessibiity?

Links: Underline vs Colour change

Hi all,

I'm struggling to find any research on this so was hoping to create a dialogue about it, an hopefully even track down some theory/studies that might relate to it.

Underlines VS Coloured text, both in the context of a static link and a hoverstate. What are your thoughts?

Personally: I think it's pretty negligable - but if there's any data I'd love to see it.

Accessibility; font size and color contrast

i'm looking for a tool (or information) regarding accessibility. of course i know the common tools and w3c pages. what i'm looking for is a way to check the combination of fontsize and color-contrast.

tools like Colour contrast Analyzer are nice and helpful, but  i'm absolutely sure contrast can be lower using  - for example -  helvetica/50px/bold instead of times/12px/light/italic.

Web accessibility standards in China

Is anyone familiar with Web Accessibility Standards in China? Is there a central set of standards that China has agreed to? Is there any agreement or effort to adhere to the W3C guidelines?

I'm doing some research on web accesibility standards globally, and would appreciate any information you could share. Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Accessibility Standards for non browser based interfaces

Hi All,

I am working on a new system specification and at the moment we dont know if it will be browser based or not - it may be desktop / client software.
That being the case, I am less familiar with standards for non browser based interfaces. We are currently looking at some ISO's. While they cover common HCI concepts, I think they are a little thin on interface accessibility - particularly around the additional provision for partialy sighted users etc.
Could someone recommend alternative standards or reference material?

"Inclusive" Series of Books

Anyone familiar with this series of books?  They seem intriguing but are really expensive, and I haven't found any reviews.  Some titles include:

- Designing a More Inclusive World

- Designing Inclusive Interactions: Inclusive Interactions Between People and Products in Their Contexts of Use

- Designing Inclusive Futures

- Designing Accessible Technology
