It's a three-day conference in the heart of London, featuring one
day of inspirational talks and two days of hands-on workshops.
Leading attractions this year include JJG, Peter Morville, Josh
Porter, Scott McCloud, Bill Moggridge and many more.
Last year tickets sold out within the early bird period, and we ended
up having over 250 people on the waiting list.
*India’s 4th International conference on UX & Design
Designing Customer Experience for Emerging Markets & Beyond...**
*Call for Papers for USID 2010**
Life, culture, and context of use for end users in the emerging markets are
different to users in markets such as Europe and America. Therefore it is
not necessary that the product which is successful in other parts of the
world will also be successful in the markets of emerging economies.
I'm setting up a 3-day UX conference in Lisbon, Portugal next year,
where many topics such as IA, Usability and IxD will be covered and I
would welcome your feedback on the following:
- What would make you travel to Portugal for such a conference?
- Is the ticket price a decisive factor? If yes, what's the maximum
price you would pay?
- Is including the plane ticket and accommodation on the conference
ticket price something that would help you decide to come?
- Who would you like to see as a speaker?
- Do you prefer to listen to talks or attend workshops or both?
We are 21 days away from the conference and we are getting excited.
There is still room in all of the workshops but they are filling up
fast. We also are closing in on capacity so don't delay....sign up now!
A couple of announcements:
Genevieve Bell had to withdraw from the schedule for unforeseen
circumstances. Although we are sad that we have lost her talk we are
happy to announce that we will now be able to elevate Robert Fabricant's
highly anticipated talk, "Irrational Behavior" to a keynote.
We are now 3 weeks away from interaction'09|vancouver, Feb 5-8, 2009.
We have an amazing offer from the folks at Clearleft. They are
offering a free ticket to their UX London event for us to raffle off
at the conference.
UX London is a unique three-day event in June, combining inspirational
