Come hang out with some of the coolest folks in the tech and design here in Utah!
I'm 26. I dropped out of electronics engineering in my final year. After that i have worked in the field of Interface Design for 2 years.
With things evolving at the pace that we see, I feel there will be need to take a masters in interaction design course a few years down the line. But since i dropped out, i will need a bachelor's degree and i can't give up work for financial reasons.
I just move to Berlin and I would like to start to explore what has to offer in IX and UX areas. I'm an HCI master student and I need to start to look for a place where to do an intership, and after that a Matser thesis with a company. Start ups could be as well an option.
So, I would like to hear some advices from someone of you who knows a little much better the Industry.
Or if someone know such a great Design firms or Companies in other European cities where could be worth it to do an internship, it will be great as well.
So I was just looking through my twitter feed and saw a public collaboration from a couple of local visual artists, one of which I know from his academic work, and I was thinking how great it is that he can share the fruit of his work with the community.
It got me wondering if there is anything that we as UX or Interaction Designers can do in the same way. It's obvious that most of what we do is not consumable in such a passive way as purely visual arts, but surely there is something we can do.
Where to find articles (scientific or practical) about Notification system UI design
Hi all, I have been lurking on the mail list for a while now, and now I have a question about notification system design.
It seems to me that finding good documentation about the design of notification system UI design is hard. System level articles are easy to find, but the UI seems to get no love. Any pointers? I am looking for documents on everything from small mobile devices to tablets to full desktop systems.
