I am surveying tools for interactive web information visualization, which is not too technical for class project but still feasible enough to be applied to practical project.
I guess Flex or Flare would not be compatible anymore alogn with the declination of Flash ActionScript (is this correct...?). Then Processing would be a reasonable tool to start information visualization with? What do you think a good interactive visualization tool that can be applied to senior design course project with technical compatibility as well as design flexibility?
I am a junior interface designer living here in Dallas Texas. I just recently lost my job in telemarketing for social media, in which I really didn't like, I tried reasoning with my company about interaction design but they wouldn't hear me out. I would like to start an organization that mirrors the values of ixDA's principles, yet targets the younger demographic. I would like to educate high school students about interaction design creating youth clubs and fostering an interest early. I'm hoping to get collegiate students interested as well to gain more colleagues in the industry.

I was researching on new technology and media for RIA and found Live Mesh. I found that it seamlessly connects your data through Windows PC, Mac, Mobile Phone, and other devices. It is an interesting concept and would we not want all our work to be seamlessly, updated wherever we are on the go?
hi, I am a researcher at the London College of Communication working
on a information design project.
I am have come up with a range of different graphical concepts(
designed in adobe illustrator) but I am struggling to make them
dynamic, animated and interactive. What I am looking for is a tool
which will enable me to update a spreadsheet or data base and it will
manipulate the graphics accordingly.
Can you recommend any software or scripting that might help me, in
fact any suggestion would be good?
