Visually comparing two versions of a 3D shape

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for examples of UI that lets users visually compare two versions of a 3D shape. They should be able to easily tell (preferably without further interaction):

- Where do the two shapes differ?
- By how much?

The shapes are parts of human anatomy (a foot, a leg stump, a cranium). The users have little experience with 3D modeling tools.

Any ideas where I might find usable examples?

Many thanks in advance!

3D Navigation

Hi All,

I'm looking for examples of 3D navigation where a user can move free form within visual objects or data, particularly in the area of search or within a use case of finding specific information. (I think this is a poor interface for this type of scenario btw, looking to talk a client out of it.) Two I can think of are PicLens and Google Earth.

Looking for good examples of 3D interfaces

Hi all,

Am looking for some good examples of 3D interactions online, ideally
with relation to navigating around a building.

Anybody seen anything good recently?

Thanks in advance.
