Looking for IXD blog recommendations

Hi all,

I am a professional in the field looking for current, up-to-date, interaction design blog recommendations. I am an avid reader of ixd  and user experience research, but some of the blogs in our field are out of date.

What some current, great, IXD blogs?

Current IXD health care focused blogs?

Lastly, many of my fellow IXDAer's get valuable user experience information from other types of technology blogs written with a user focused perspective. Know of anything like this?

Thanks everyone!

The betacup design challenge for a sustainable community

It’s been said that design shapes behavior; and in user experience (UX) design, behavior informs design which shapes behavior. We can almost taste the tail of the snake in its own mouth.

Good RUP Resources when it comes to UI Documentation, etc.?

I've been tasked at helping our BAs sift through some documentation,
to work within the confines of the RUP methodology. The documents
that I'm working on are the Storyboard artifact, the UI concepts,
and the UI Document or UI Specs. document.

The first two are pretty self explanatory, but I'm struggling with
what's usually in the last one.

The way I see it is this document will be a bridge for people in
systems and people on the business side to rally around the screens
and "be on the same page", literally.

So, my question is, what usually goes in this UI document?

Ami Rotter

From time to time I find myself struggling with writing very short
describing text labels and titles for our web application's UI.

Writing text labels and titles for the UI is much like writing road
signs, people go by them in very high speeds and you have a limited
amount of space.

I wanted to ask, how many of you work in companies who hire full time
copywriters? Part time?

Do you have a special UI copywriter adviser outsourced?

Or do you manage by yourselves and just advise anyone around you?
