This is a reminder to all you fellow UX nerds that the UX bookclub will
be meeting next week Wed., Dec., 7th for our next book selection, Mental
Models by Indi Young. Please join us for some wonderful conversation
and treats! (oh, AND beer!) Hope to see you there!
Can you suggest reading materials that discuss application of ethnography to digital design? I have a lot of snippets and slideshares and deliverables, but am having trouble digging up more comprehensive resources on application to digital design for a friend.
Edit: Upon popular request, the first book club meeting has been moved to Thursday, October 14th.
inspired by a panel discussion at this year's UPA conference I decided to set up a local UX book club group in Oslo. The goal is to read a book related to UX every 2 months or so, and get together to discuss the book. There's no formal organization, just people who like reading books and exchange ideas.
I know of Mario, and I know of one other Canadian who has expressed
interest. Curious, are there other Canadians here interested in discussing
books? Should it be online since there are few of us over a large area? Are
others interested in an online discussion, even if it's posted on the site
somehow rather than in the mailing list? Or are people happy discussing
books right on the list? Thoughts?
