I've been tasked with reviewing an admin interface for one of our devices. In this interface, there is a very simple menu system. You can take a look at it (sans labels) at the following link:

As you can see, the main menu is color coded for each item. Opening a main item gives you a secondary (and even a tertiary) flyout menu of the same color.
