IxDA Atlanta 2009 Holiday Event

Looking to add some creative spark to your holiday season? Then come
to the IxDA Atlanta 2009 Holiday Event! The event will spotlight the
design of unusual things with two unique games: a white elephant gift
exchange and a mystery object identification challenge. Participants
in the optional gift exchange should bring one wrapped item, either
an object from home that they would like to give away, or a purchased
gift of $15-$20. Gifts should be associated with a design concept of
some kind. Participation in the mystery object challenge is free and
open to everyone.

IxDA Atlanta Design Slam Event, September 9th

IxDA Atlanta is hosting a design slam event the evening of September
9th, at Macquarium in Buckhead.

What's a design slam? Basically, it's a fun and collaborative event
around an interesting design problem posed by a client. Slam
participants group into teams who then devise and document design
solutions using simple tools like markers, paper, pencils, and
Post-it notes.
