Help grow IxDA’s ability to support diversity and inclusion
This 3 December, we’re participating in Giving Tuesday—a growing movement to make an impact with your financial donation on a single day. Today, we’re kick starting this year’s Call to the Community fundraising drive.
The core of IxDA’s programming — our annual Interaction and Interaction Latin America gatherings, the Interaction Awards, the Student Design Charette, the Education Summit — have been nurtured and grown through your contributions. It is through these global initiatives that IxDA’s mission is realised — advancing the discipline of interaction design.
How will my pledge be used?
This year, proceeds will benefit IxDA’s efforts to strengthen the accessibility of our content created through our global initiatives — the annual Interaction conferences and the Interaction Awards.
Your support will go towards making that content more accessible through providing captioning, transcripts and translation of existing content.
How you can participate on Giving Tuesday?
It’s simple — please pledge what you can. Contribute online — you can use your PayPal account or credit card:
- make a one time contribution or choose to give a little each month
- amplify your support by tagging @IxDA using your social media channels
- encourage others to support IxDA by contributing
Contribute throughout December
We will carry the momentum from today through to the end of December. It ends Tuesday, 31 December at 12 midnight EST. Watch ixda.org, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook for weekly updates and progress reports toward our goal.
