Pixar @ the MoMA & prototyping b/c we design time.

Hey there fellow designers,

I wanted to encourage anyone who is in or near the NYC area, to make your
way to the Museum of Modern Art's exhibit, Pixar: 20 Years of Animation.

http://moma.org/

The exhibit is fun for anyone who appreciates these movies, but for
designers it is also a stark telling of the design process they use and
tells a story for us to think about emulating.

Some reasons to consider Intuit:

.....you'll have the opportunity to work on products used by millions of
people (we have an enormous user base ) ....... think of how many lives your
designs will touch !

.....finally tell us ideas about a product you use every day

.....you've always wanted to make it easier for your mom to do her taxes ;-)

Fwd: MS, MFA, or Mdes?

BTW, MDes is not a 'terminal degree' everywhere. In the Industrial
Design Centre, IIT Bombay you can do a PhD after your MDes.

<plug> Next opportunity will start in July 06 if you are interested:
http://www.idc.iitb.ac.in/academics/phd.html </plug>

Sure enough, most people who do an MDes are really roaring to go into
the practice. Some of them have second thoughts 5-10 years into the
practice.

Fwd: MS, MFA, or Mdes?

The science behind interaction design in my MS was in the realm of
human science: cognitive.
