CUMULUS is the leading global association of art and design education and research. Together, IxDA and CUMULUS organize a series of Practitioners, Researchers, and Educators (P-R-E-) Days to encourage focused conversations on identifying critical elements that further capacity building for designers, at different stages of their careers, from studies to professional practice to lifelong learning. 


The Service Design Network (SDN), founded in 2004, is the leading non-profit institution for expertise in service design and a driver of global growth, development and innovation within the practice. 


The first international Design Declaration describes the value and potential impact of design to address social, cultural, environmental and economic challenges. The Declaration includes a “Call to Action” and fifteen proposed projects. IxDA hosts the Design declaration website and maintains a seat on the Declaration Steering Committee


Transformation of the design industry begins by recognizing the extraordinary racial disparities within the field and addressing them head on. D×D focuses on five critical, interconnected aspects of the design ecosystem: Exposure, Education, Experience, Employment, and Empowerment. D×D tackles these inequities by elevating proven program models and co-creating new initiatives only where solution gaps are present.
