<this is no joke. seriously, this is no joke>

To all, I read the first page (!) of a book written natively on a language I
don't know. Because it's a dual English-Italian and written for Designers,

today technology is so complex it will take 10 000 years to find uses for
it. Singularity... what a joke.

How to manage horizontal-hierarchies enterprises of less than 150 members?

just a rethorical question.

with it".

You are all a creative bunch, I'm happy to be part of IxDA (the coolest IxD

Boxes and Arrows Needs You

[deep and heartfelt apologies for cross posting, which I almost never do]

Hello all and sundry,

Boxes and Arrows, arguably the most influential publication in our
industry ;-) need YOU to help end that argument and become undeniably
the most important publication in our industry. Right now we are a
volunteer organization, but slowly we are getting a bit of money in, and
eventually we'll pay. But not quite yet. For now, for zero money down,
we offer

iPhone Feature Request

2007 looks promising... honestly, this is just the beggining (of IxD?!).

Imagine the iPhone (the beta product that will ship in ~2007.06.01) with
dialing as:

iPhone: who?
user-caller: *says aloud the NAME of the called"
user-called: Hi, Aló, ...
(user-caller or user-called): ciao (or anyone other codename)
iPhone: <close conversation>

That scene IS Century XXI, 2007, Q3

The TradeMark (...if it matters) may be iPhone OS X, formally "cutting"
Apple in 3: Mac OS X, iPhone OS X, software/accesories/other.

I don't know if this is the study you were thinking of, but Luke W.
mentions a similar study in his post, The Sweet Spot for Buying

Jan 30, San Fran, The Hills Are Alive with Interaction Design

Interaction design visionaries Matt Webb and Jack Schulze will be
speaking at Adaptive Path on Jan 30.

Please RSVP on Upcoming

From the event description:

How a new generation wants social, creative, networked products, and
how design can help not by identifying tasks to be productively
performed, but experiences to be deepened and made fun. All told
through some of our favourite things, and a series of increasingly
tenuous references to The Sound of Music.

Tog on the iPhone

Tog's writes up is an excellent and very comprehensive review on nn/
g that details nearly every feature and its level of evo' vs revo'
originality. He fall just slightly short of making the comparison to
the first personal computer... whatever that was. All the tools and
technology were already in place. It just took someone to put them
together in a coherent, well selected attribute set that has high
utility and put in an affordable package. Revolutionary (?) - only in
the combination and the outcomes, but that is where it counts.
