F2F Portland OR - special Case Study Workshop

Hi folks,

I've organized a special two-part Face to Face meeting here in Portland,

Video Sharing eBoard

Hi,

For my class project, my group and I have decided to explore the
possibilities of using video captured lectures as a means to
supplement discussions outside of class. The idea is that much
similar to the iTunes U program, Students would be able to view and
share videos of lectures provided by the university. However, our
project also suggests the idea of allowing students to bookmark
specific times or segments and provide detailed annotations.

Mobile Application Development in Japan

We are working on a pitch for a company that is centered around e-
commerce for their website in Japan. We have a great company that
will work with us on the backend for the e-commerce, however we are
also looking for a good partner company with strengths in mobile
application development. In particular, we are looking for a company
in Japan. Our client is headquartered in Europe, but will also have
the client's Japanese office involved in this project.

Spider diagram / Cloud cluster tools

Hi,

I'm looking for a tool that can help me to dynamically visualise / explain
to a client how content within a site might aggregate around different
themes, or have greater or lesser priority/prominence depending on the user
journey through site.

I'm thinking that some form of spider diagram or cloud-cluster tool might be
the way to go. Has anyone got any recommendations?

I’m an independent software usability consultant (sole proprietor, LLC).
One of my large clients requires me to have both General Liability and
Professional Liability Insurance in the amount of $1M each.
