[PLUG] IA Summit: Learning from Las Vegas

Interested in experience design, interaction design and cultural
observation?
Then come to the IA Summit for a unique workshop, "Learning from Las Vegas:
Insights from the Ordinary and the Extraordinary" on Thursday, March 22 in
Las
Vegas.

Having the IA Summit in Las Vegas this year provides us with an amazing
opportunity to learn about experience design by going out and experiencing
and
observing Las Vegas, one of the largest concentrations of intentionally
designed experiences.

Dan Saffer, Steve Portigal and I are co-presenting a full day workshop to do
exactly this.

Potsdam interaction design conference

Anyone on the list going to this conference? Anyone part of the team
organizing the event? I would love to have someone who is going to
encourage attendees to check out IxDA and join the list.

Newbie IA with flash questions

Hi,

I'm a bit of a newbie; I'm still in school, and this is my second time
posting to the group. I'm trying to expand my flash skills, and so am using
flash to design some buttons that will be at the bottom of a homepage I am
redesigning.

When clicked, one button will open a pop-up window. I'm using JavaScript in
my html to create a menu that has no scroll bar, no menu bar, etc.

But back to the point: I don't have much practice incorporating flash files
into my html.
