CCM - Convenient Context Menus

MS Office 2007 user case scenario and some questions. :)

I installed MS Office 2007 and i wanted to copy and paste a piece of
text, with mouse selection and right click - > "copy" than -> "paste".
The UI of MS Office 2007 conveniently show the context menus half
transparently after some text was selected, so it's very easy to change
the font, fontsize, weight etc.

Declarative UI process and UX teams?

Hi all -

Question of the day: if the development process of your product is using
a declarative UI strategy, what does that mean for the UX design team -
assuming the designers are not, in fact, the same people as the

How do designers work within that strategic framework? What's our
value, if everything is so modularized that it can be (and probably will
be) changed on the fly by the product's customers?
