Limitations of twitter

This one's for the twitter users out there.
What limitations do you face using twitter? I for one would like to be
able to see all posts from a single user in one place, be able to post
pics, have twitter convert the URL into a tinyURL before submitting
the post so I know how much more typing space is left....

What limitations do you face?

A little while back there was some discussion about various methods,

Committing changes to a database

Hi everyone

I am currently reviewing a desktop (i.e. NOT web) application that
involves mostly viewing and changing records in a database (via a
nice GUI front end).

In some places, changes are "committed" as soon as you enter them, a
bit like how Microsoft Access operates.

Contact me or recomend me list of IxD agencies that do embedded software

I may be in the market for agencies that can do embedded software design and
hardware IxD.
Please don't reply if your portfolio only has desktop/webtop and mobile
software. Yes, mobile apps and software is not what I'm looking for and
doesn't qualify.

If you've worked with agencies that you can recommend, all the better.
Feel free to send offline.

Thanx!

[EVENT] From Business to Buttons 2008, 12-13 June in Malmö, Sweden

'Bad design is bad business,' says usability guru Don Norman before his European visit.
Don Norman will be a keynote speaker at Business to Buttons 2008, Europe's meeting place for interaction designers and business managers in Malmö, Sweden in June.

The conference focuses on interactivity regardless of the technical platform and how to combine design with business benefits. Here you can get inspired, learn from others, and develop within your area of competence.

Workshops and sessions are filling up.

Highly Usable Forum ?

Hi all,

everyone of you has seen online forums/bulleting boards based on board
engines (phpBB, vBulletin etc). They are usually nearly awful from the
user experience poit of view. But I'm sure there are custom made,
unique boards which are carefully designed so they can serve as an
example. Could you please point me to one or two of them?

Thanks in advance,

P.S. Slashdot doesn't fit well in the description above because ...
well ... it has a very specific auditorium.
