Why designers fail: the results

As promised, the survey results with some basic analysis is up at:

We had 389 people respond: Almost 34% were designers, the rest were a mix of
project managers, programmers, usability engineers and others.

Prize winners will be announced this week. Thanks to all that contributed

Workshop overview
------------------

Traditional user research and evaluation methods tend to focus on
'first-time' experiences with products, which trends the results towards
discoverability problems, rather than usability concerns that may persist
over time. This workshop will extend current thinking by an in-depth
discussion of methods and metrics for longitudinal data collection.
