Hi Res Logo of IxDA

Hi Dave, all
Can somebody let me know where I can get Hi Res Logo of IxDA? Bengaluru
International Airport Ltd has offered to provide space in their premises to
display World Usability Day Posters. Since IxDA local chapter is one of the
organisers for the event, we have put the IxDA Logo on the Mailers and
Posters. We need the Hi Res logo to go in Large Size Posters as well. Thanks
in advance :)

Can you help me Synonym module for Search optimization ?

Hi,I am new to IxDA. Recently we have re-launched our site search features
and have used Sphinx. Now, as a part of optimization, I would like to
introduce a synonym module wherein a search for a keyword can also suggest
related keywords. Are there any database available? free or paid?

Can you help me here? Thanks in advance!

We are looking for a graphic designer who is fluent in English and Arabic and who has experience with Arabic typography (very important).
 
The candidate should be able to create high quality visual work and ideally also be familiar with interaction design (e.g. website design, interactive CDs, or mobile user interfaces).
 
The project is running till May 2009 and we are designing the look and feel of a new interactive TV platform for the Middle East.

The candidate should be able to supplement our team in creating high quality graphics and structuring information visually with a keen eye for typography. The work will include defining a visual language for the interactive TV system, then applying that to wireframes in order to create polished, final screens.

The Designers Review of Books

Hi folks,

Quick plug for a new site I've launched called The Designers Review of
Books http://www.designersreviewofbooks.com

Although there are not yet any reviews on interaction design you can
be sure I will be covering that area quite a bit, given that it's my
own discipline. I'm going to be (p)reviewing Dan Saffer's Designing
Gestural Interfaces very soon too (thanks Dan!) to coincide with an
interview with him on Core77.

How do you keep track of suggested changes to interaction designs?

In the process of building new design tools at Stanford, the following
question came up - and I'm hoping you could help me out by reporting your
personal experience:

How do you capture comments and suggestions for revisions to interaction
design prototypes?

There is no equivalent to Word's "track changes" in tools like Flash or
Dreamweaver - so what are your practices to record and share revision
suggestions? Write a text list of changes? Print out screens and mark them
up with Sharpies? Screen grab and annotate in Photoshop?

How well do those solutions work for you?

Alternative to Word w/ Track Changes?

Does anybody know of a good -- and free! -- alternative to using Word
with Track Changes?
