IAS09+IxD09 = RedUX DC

You couldn't attend Interaction '09 in Vancouver because you are on a
TSA watch list.

You didn't attend IA Summit '09 because Memphis BBQ doesn't sit well

Join us and some amazing speakers for the first ever combined IAS'09 +
IxD'09 Redux DC.

We are planning an IAS09+IxD09 Redux! We have invited a number of
fantastic people in the UX community from DC, Richmond, Philly and NYC
to come down to the nations capital for a half day presenting
condensed versions of their talks.

and other user experience counterparts, the IA will work on
initiatives to continually improve our ability to market and sell
products.

Using a customer-focused design approach while understanding and
meeting technical requirements and business goals, Information
Architects determine and own the content structure, navigational
systems, user/process flows and page interaction that comprise the
overall experience on our interactive interfaces.

Documenting State Changes in Web Apps

Question for the gallery:

My company has until recently been documenting state changed -within-
our visual design example documents. That is, we incorporate
explanations of the various states of widgets and interface points in
the same document that contains our wireframes/mockups.

I was wondering if any of my esteemed colleagues here do this a
different and potentially better way? We've tossed around the idea of
having an external text document that lists each page, each field, and
each state for each field. Possibly even an excel file etc.

Any opinions?
