Prototyping Tool Recommendations

Hello, i have recently been given the task of identifying prototyping
tools to test high fidelity and high functionality. Our goal is to
have prototypes that will be high enough quality to work as design

I have looked at Axure and iRise but am unsure about their ability to
handle interactions like resizing and Drag n Drop.

Has anyone used found a tool that handles those dynamic aspects well?
Am I just better off using a javascript library?

Inline audio and text translations

Hello, everyone. Thanks for the constant stream of useful information.
I've lurked and learned from this list for a while. It's great.

Has anyone seen/built an interface for presenting inline audio
translations of journal or magazine articles? A customer would like
to include translations for small blocks of an article. The blocks
will be of an arbitrary length. Each block would have a corresponding
Spanish and Chinese translation of the original English text. Their
idea is to include an icon at the end of each block that will play an
audio translation of that block.

Essential disciplines for successful technology, what's your idea?

Hi there,

Within my conference team we have been extensively discussing the
disciplines needed in creating successful technology.

After 2 years of pondering, we came up with a framework that includes
Experience Design, Persuasive Technology and Analytics (Evidence Based

disciplines lead us to 3 fundamental ideas that project to future
application of the disciplines (and we thought they were rather

1st Big idea: From Persuasion to Morality
2nd Big idea: from Experience to Happiness
3rd Big idea: from Evidenc

Site map, reasoning and how to present it.

Just a quick post to this, I think most of the way information is
structure comes out of cultural norms or mental models.

If you went to a website, where are you most likely to find the
address. If it were me, I would likely go to the contact section.

So to answer your question, I think, technically, it is possible to
visually explain the reasoning, but it would be a long explanation.

I think it has to do more with user interaction behaviour.

Representing visually the reasoning behind the sitemap.

This might be a good time to use a storyboard or comic representation of key
use scenarios. Those can embody all of the UX research/rationale and also
how that translates into pathways in the site. You could also try site path
diagramming (see Wodtke p.
