Reviews on City University London MSc in Human-Centered Systems

Hi All,

I am contemplating the masters degree in Human-Centered System and City University London and was wondering if anyone had any reviews or comments about the course and/or the university.

I have been working at a web agency for a while however would like more formal training in UX design and HCI

Thanks

Craig, if you have specific issues w/ the site, there is a
getsatisfaction.com site. You can get to there by going to "Help" from the
secondary navigation under discussion.

As for how else you can help.

Re: [IxDA] Who can mentor a UX pro that's already a director?

You might consider looking at Creative Good's councils: http://www.creativegood.com/councils/

You join one of several councils, but if you tell them what in particular you're interested in, they can help place you most appropriately.

UCD, UX and Usability Courses in London (3 for 2)

(Apologies if you receive more than one of these.)

Thanks to everyone who completed our courses survey questionnaire. Oliver Pink at SAP was the lucky winner of the Amazon voucher.

(Apologies if you receive more than one of these.)

Thanks to everyone who completed our courses survey questionnaire. Oliver Pink at SAP was the lucky winner of the Amazon voucher.

Based on the feedback from the survey, we've set up a regular programme of UCD, UX, usability and related soft skills courses in London. We may extend this to other locations if demand dictates, but we are always willing to run courses in-house or in specific locations if requested.

Who can mentor a UX pro that's already a director?

This may be an unusual question, or it may not be.

I'm a UX director, have been working in the field of interactive design since the mid-'90s and as an IA since 1998. I feel like I'm starting to hit a ceiling in terms of professional growth.

As the most senior UX person in my company, there's no one I can turn to in the agency to help me grow.

Is there anyone who is at a place in their career where they feel they could provide some peer mentorship? Or perhaps someone who would just like to give some one-on-one advice?

Re: [IxDA] Sports Illustrated HTML5 Prototype

Yes Jerome the GoogleIO was chock full both answers but even more questions. There are some very interesting technology coming down the pipe, which I plan to have a better look at this weekend. Thus begins the summer games:) TonyPro

Sports Illustrated HTML5 Prototype

Who watched the Day One Keynote of Google I/O this past Wednesday? As a developer very committed to effective UX/IxDA I'd love to hear the community's response to the Sport Illustrated HTML5 prototype premiered there.
