IxDA Los Angeles organizes bi-monthly events about topics related to interaction design. Our events help expose our local community to informative speakers and fun activities.  Various companies host and sponsor events in offices throughout the greater Los Angeles area so that all parts of town have an opportunity to participate. Generally, our events occur mid-week, after business hours.

Global Service Jam at Possible Worldwide

Global Service Jam is happening all over the world this weekend (43 countries, 95 cities and counting). LA is having a mini-jam this Saturday. This is a great opportunity to work with people of various backgrounds (architects, industrial designers, artists, customer service experts) as well as to learn new techniques for brainstorming, idea generation and rapid prototyping. If you were ever curious about service design, this is your chance to explore it first-hand. Bonus: Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

I was doing some research on AI and came accross one of the most bizarre and fascinating things I've seen in a long time.

Hello Everybody, I just wanted to introduce myself as the new local leader for 2012. We are planning a fun and exciting year with some great events! if you have any ideas for events, please let me know. Also, I'll be posting all of our events here. One thing to note, in order to see the correct times for all of our events, you will need to add your time zone to your account. You can do this by clicking on your name in the top left and then select Edit. Scroll all the way down till you see Locale Settings, then select America/LosAngeles as your time zone.
