Hack Night SLC is just around the corner (Feb 21) and we finally got the website launched this evening. Hack Night SLC is a free event open to everyone, focused on providing an opportunity for developers, designers, students, etc. to gather and work on projects in a collaborative evnironment. There will be free food, and it's going to be a great opportunity to get to know the community here in the valley a little bit better.
The IxDA is currently looking for volunteers to help with our main online platform, IxDA.org. If you've been looking for a great way to get involved and support our community and our volunteer run organization now is the time!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Bill Buxton will be keynoting this years Remix South conference. It's a community hosted conference so we're keeping the cost low. This will be the only US speaking engagement for Bill this year. Plus, we've got a great UX track which includes both workshops and sessions.

I'm very excited to announce the opening for entries to the 2013 Interaction Awards. This is the second year in which the Awards have been staged, following on from a highly successful inaugural year which saw over 300 entries from 30+ countries.
