UPA Website Usability Study Seeking Paid Participants

The Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) is currently working to
re-design its website, www.upassoc.org, and expect that the new site
will be launched by the end of 2009.

We are conducting a usability study of our new design and are
currently looking for representative users between the ages of 18-65
to participate in the study.

Compensation for qualifying participants will be a $25 Amazon gift
certificate for a 30-60 minute, one-on-one interview session.

Interaction'09|vancouver: Conference Update!

Hi Community,

We are 25% sold out for the conference and 25%-40% sold out for most
workshops. Sign up now. Workshops will go up in price on Jan 1 if there
is still space available.

The conference team is really excited about the planning. We are going
to have several new ways for people to contribute at the conference
besides the scheduled talks. Stay tuned we will be announcing these

This year the UPA 2008 conference is in Baltimore. I am going, and I did
notice that the program is filled with sessions of interest to the IxDA
