I am a professional in the field looking for current, up-to-date, interaction design blog recommendations. I am an avid reader of ixd and user experience research, but some of the blogs in our field are out of date.
What some current, great, IXD blogs?
Current IXD health care focused blogs?

I recently have joined an active volunteer community where I could have ample access to stakeholders to gain insight into their challenges. I was interested in using activities from participatory design as a tool to focus the exploration, particularly those that have co-designers make or build in order to express their ideas rather than conversation that could devolve into a focus group.
Where can I find activities for participatory design?
One tension that frequently arises in trying to design usable systems is this idea that we're not our user and therefore we can't see the design the way they do. That's why we employ techniques such as usability testing, field studies, and personas.
But, what happens when we are the users? When we are designing for ourselves?
(Apologies if you receive more than one of these.)
