Excellent Portfolios for IxDs (also:do employers care about portfolios?)

> Anyone have some rockin' examples they want to share with the group?

I really like http://www.okaydave.com/- especially at the project level with
a story (video) and other details like process, screenshots etc

When I graduated from grad school last year and was looking for a job, I
thought that my portfolio would be the single best tool to prove my
capabilities. Although I did get a decent amount of traffic, most people (6
out of 7) who had called me for interviews didn't bother to go through my
portfolio.

Excellent Portfolios for IxDs

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in some examples of excellent online portfolios for
interaction designers.

What's the best way to represent one's work to potential employers?

Anyone have some rockin' examples they want to share with the group?

Jared

Question about resume/ portfolios

Hi Folks, I curious to know people's thought are on what would
constitute a good portfolio for an Interaction Design/Usability job
seeker. I essentially straight from grad school to teaching;never had to
review resumes in my previous career :) and now my students are asking
those type of questions. Hopefully people have some experiences to
share/advice I can give to them. Should they avoid flash online
portfolios? Do them only in HTML..etc

Thanks
Shelley
