NYC Interaction Design Studio Event Kudos!

A standing ovation goes to everyone involved in last Thursday's sold-out
Second Annual Interaction Design Studio:

- talented leader-facilitators Liya Zheng and Jeanine Harriman

- generous host Roundarch (particularly the lion-hearted Victor Lombardi,
who also contributed thoughtfully to the critique and blogged about the
event)

- esteemed and inventive attendees

- the tireless team of IxDA local leaders whose volunteer organizing efforts
made this event possible

Our evening kicked off with pizza and salad, courtesy of our thoughtful
host.

NYC sends out huge thanks to Dan Saffer, R/GA, and all event attendees!

IxDA NYC packed in nearly 200 people at R/GA's sparkling new conference
center last night to hear Dan Saffer of Kicker Studio expound on "Tap is the
New Click". Deepest appreciation goes to our excellent speaker as well as
the dedicated team of people at host R/GA who were instrumental in this
event going off so seamlessly -- particularly Chloe Gottlieb and Courtney
Buckle.

IxDA NYC thanks David Armano and Icon Nicholson

On Monday, June 16th, IxDA NYC -- along with our fabulous host Icon
Nicholson -- welcomed David Armano as he engaged 50 attendees in his
forward-thinking presentation "Micro Interactions in a 2.0 World".
Photos of the event can been seen here: http://flickr.com/groups/ixda
and David mentioned that his presentation is publicly available on
slideshare.com.

See you next time: Thursday, July 24th, for a hot talk by Luke
Williams of frog design.

Happy summer!
