How to design for collaborative behaviour in workshops and meetings.

Workshops are powerful tools for learning, collaboration, and problem-solving in a wide range of fields, from business and education to community development and personal growth. This one is all about sharing challenging meeting/workshop scenarios, collecting inspiration from others, getting an insight into Canoe facilitator’s brains, and learning from each other.

Whether you’re an experienced facilitator or someone new to the role, you will leave with tips to help you plan for better collaboration based on behavioral principles and facilitation techniques.

Let me introduce Triin and Trond from Canoe, our facilitators for the evening:

Triin Jassov is a Designer, innovator, and former basketball player known for unlocking potential in individuals and projects by simplifying complexity and fostering valuable connections among people, technology, and organizations. Her passion lies in challenging and activating diverse groups, from athletes to management. Her expertise has driven the successful establishment of numerous tech companies, serving clients across various sectors, with collaborations including VanMoof, Skype, Adidas, 72andSunny, and Mischief Makers.

Trond Dagsland, also a Designer, specializes in understanding people and their behaviors across various services and organizations. With a foundation in industrial design, he holds a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into creating functional, beautiful, and sustainable designs. Thriving in challenging the big picture and experimenting with concrete interventions, adapting his experience into design practices to facilitate and drive behavioral change.
