IxDA Byron: The Future of Digital Product Design

Join us for the next IxDA Byron Bay meet up, and for an unforgettable evening at OTHERWORLD, an extraordinary immersive art and light experience nestled in the heart of Byron Bay.

On the night we will experience the space, support local business and to delve further into the world of design with a talk and discussion with Charlie Sutton, SVP and Head of Design at Atlassian. Atlassian is one of Australia’s most important technology companies, with a design organisation of over 500 people working here and around the world.

Charlie will share a perspective on the future of digital product design – and how it might respond to the forces of distributed work, AI and changes across the software industry in general. The broader impact of these themes, as well as Charlie’s experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams (including industrial design, game design, service design etc) – means that this discussion is relevant to design practitioners of all kinds in our region.

In addition to the presentation, the event will provide the opportunity to connect with fellow designers, creatives, professionals, and thought leaders from the local community. This is your chance to expand your network, learn from others, experience a great venue and contribute to the growth of our vibrant Northern Rivers design community.
