As Designers, many of us have been designing for the majority of the population. The small communities that live on the edge of society are often neglected. These communities are faced with the challenge of unstable income and basic resources. In this talk, let’s examine a large ecosystem and discover challenges and pitfalls of how Isla Urbana was organized to solve the problems for communities living in the outer edge of society using a decentralized strategy.
