In the last couple of years we’ve had the opportunity to consider disparate healthcare outreach solutions for both urban and rural India, with its usual mix of languages, levels of education, training, infrastructure, technology, and mobility ecosystems. We conducted primary research in the field in order to understand the ecosystem, roles involved, challenges, gaps, pain points, and opportunity areas, and have used them to design and deploy healthcare outreach systems there.
In this talk, we share our experiences of designing for healthcare outreach projects in both rural and urban Indian contexts, told through field research artefacts, and our learnings when solving for complexity at scale.
