This is for anyone interested, but primarily aimed at practicing interaction designers – what are spatial and gestural interfaces, what are their use cases, and what do you need to know, to be ready to design one? How does one actually interact in the world of the ‘metaverse’ anyway?
Matt explains what they’ve learned over several years of design and research at Ultraleap with hand tracking and haptics technologies. He shows examples from real-world projects, explains what works, what doesn’t, and breaks down the design principles, gestures and UI components that you can expect to be working with in the near future.
