I’m the founder and CEO of littleBits, an award-winning library of electronic modules that snap together with magnets to allow anyone to learn, build, and invent with electronics. My career and education have centered on advancing open source hardware to make education and innovation more accessible to people around the world. I was born in Canada, grew up in Lebanon and Canada, studied Computer Engineering and Sociology at the American University of Beirut and then received my Masters degree from the MIT Media Lab. I created the first littleBits prototype while working as a fellow at Eyebeam Art+Technology Center in 2008 and became a TED Fellow in 2012.
