Hello, I’m a Product Design Director at an online marketplace called notonthehighstreet, where I focus on connecting UK small businesses with customers looking for creative products in a unique and meaningful way. I’m also the Director and Founder of UX for Change, a global organization that for the last six years has connected non-profit organizations with the UX community. I’m currently trying to figure out how to scale collaboration globally while inspiring design excellence. My design work spans from heavily visited e-commerce platforms to technology for aiding refugees. I would like to discuss the topic of growth with three different lenses: Leadership, Empathy, and Trauma. I’m focused on the posttraumatic growth that emerges from navigating complex systems of inequality as an underrepresented minority.
