Sassy, smiling and straightforward, Megan directs experience design at Mad*Pow while simultaneously heading up all of its marketing activities. With 15 years of experience in marketing and experience design, Megan is the ultimate user advocate. She specializes in helping clients discover the attitudes, intents and behaviors of their users and to understand what is truly important to them. By facilitating a user-centered design process, she is able to recognize various emotional mindsets and translate their desires into her designs, improving the presentation of information in a way that rings true with the audience and meets business goals.

She also directs all of Mad*Pow’s marketing efforts, including overseeing marketing strategy and publicity, directing community engagement activities and managing Mad*Pow’s presence at industry events.

Prior to Mad*Pow, Megan served as marketing manager with Momenta, and as senior product manager and user interface manager at Bottomline Technologies. Megan holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire, and is an active member of Girls-In-Tech Boston and MITX. She is a founding member of the NHUPA. Her speaking opportunities have included Refresh Boston, the 2010 IA Summit in Phoenix, the Usability Professionals’ Association International conference in Munich and UPA Boston. A die-hard Red Sox fan, Megan can be found travelling the world, parked in her favorite beach chair, or walking around town with her husband and two young children.
