How will the role of the experience designer change in a the post Snowden world? In addition to our current responsibilities in research, design and testing should we be advocates of consumer privacy and security as well? What additional skills and behaviors will we need to attain if we are to perform these functions with the goal of restoring consumer trust? In this presentation we will discuss the challenges and opportunities that are coming in the era of “big data”.
